The common medium of heater chiller is silicon oil, which has good stability and hydrophobicity. It is a colorless, tasteless, non-toxic and volatile liquid. It has good high temperature resistance and can work normally at 300 ℃. After using any working medium for a long time, the viscosity of silicone oil will change after continuous high temperature or contamination by impurities and dust.
When the viscosity of the silicone oil we use is higher, its fluidity will also be worse, which will lead to delayed heat exchange and poor temperature measurement accuracy due to uneven temperature of the circulating medium. It may also cause the temperature around the heater to be too high, which may lead to the damage of the heater, or even lay hidden dangers for the stable operation of the equipment. Therefore, we must pay attention to the state of the medium when using the heater chiller. Once the viscosity problem occurs, the machine needs to be stopped and replaced in time to avoid unnecessary losses.
