Safety issues of glass reactor.
The characteristic of glass not reacting with experimental materials is usually used for high-precision and high-risk experimental operations. The following issues need to be noted during use:
1. Security assessment
Based on the experimental requirements and the characteristics of the experimental materials, a comprehensive evaluation of the safety of the glass reactor is carried out, especially for some high temperature, high pressure, corrosive or toxic experiments.
2. Cleaning and maintenance
After use, it should be cleaned promptly to avoid interference from residues in the next experiment. Regular inspection and maintenance of the reactor are also necessary to ensure its normal operation.
3. Temperature control
Excessive temperature shock inside the reactor may cause glass to rupture, leading to experimental failure. Therefore, temperature changes should be closely monitored during use.
4. Pressure control
Excessive pressure may cause equipment damage or safety accidents, while low pressure may affect experimental results, so it is often used in conjunction with vacuum pump equipment.
