How to improve the heating rate of the glass reactor?
In experiments, the materials inside the glass reactor sometimes need to reach the set reaction temperature quickly. So, how should we increase the heating rate in the laboratory?
The glass reactor heats up too slowly in winter and takes too long. The larger the capacity, the slower the temperature rise.
1. Choose specialized insulation cotton and wrap the glass reactor to achieve insulation effect, which can effectively prevent excessive temperature loss and improve heating speed.
2. Appropriately increase the set temperature of the heating oil bath to allow the reactor to receive a higher temperature and shorten the heating time. When the temperature is close to the operating temperature, lower the temperature of the heating oil bath to the actual required temperature.
3. The materials in the reactor should not be filled up at once. They can be added in stages, with half of the required capacity added each time. When the temperature inside the reactor approaches the set temperature, the remaining materials can be added again to increase the heating rate.
