The reactor may encounter various emergency situations during use. In order to ensure personnel safety, reduce equipment damage and environmental pollution, a series of emergency measures need to be taken.

Here are some common emergency measures for using reactor:


1、 Abnormal increase in temperature and pressure

Close the reactor: Close the feed valve, stop stirring, and close the heating valve.

Turn on cooling: Quickly turn on the cooling water to lower the temperature of the kettle.

Release pressure and discharge: Open the discharge valve at the bottom of the equipment to discard the material.

Personnel evacuation: If the above measures are ineffective and the bottom discharge valve cannot be completed in a short period of time, promptly notify the personnel on duty to evacuate the scene.


2、 Material leakage

Leakage of toxic and harmful substances:

Immediate evacuation: Notify surrounding personnel to quickly evacuate the scene upwind.

Wear equipment: Quickly wear a positive pressure respirator and close the toxic and harmful leakage valve.

Unable to close valve treatment: When the valve for toxic and harmful substances cannot be closed, quickly notify the unit and personnel to evacuate or take preventive measures, and spray treatment agents for absorption, dilution, and other treatment according to the characteristics of the substance.


Leakage of flammable and explosive materials:

Wear equipment: Quickly wear a positive pressure respirator and close the leak valve.

When it is impossible to close the flammable and explosive leakage valve, quickly notify the surrounding personnel to stop production and operations that are prone to open flames or sparks, and quickly stop other production or operations in the surrounding area. Move flammable and explosive leaks to a safe area for disposal. When the gas leak has already burned, do not rush to close the valve. Pay attention to observing and preventing backfire and gas concentration reaching the explosion limit, which may cause an explosion.


3、 Reactor caught fire

If the reactor itself or nearby catches fire, it can be extinguished by wrapping it with asbestos cloth or glass cloth, or using a dry powder fire extinguisher.


4、 Personnel injury

Poisoning treatment:

Inhalation poisoning: Quickly move the poisoned person to fresh air in the upwind direction. Quickly send to the hospital for emergency treatment when the poisoning is severe.

Ingestion poisoning: Drink sufficient warm water to induce vomiting, or give milk or egg white to detoxify, or take other substances to induce ejaculation.

Skin poisoning: Immediately remove contaminated clothing, rinse with plenty of flowing water, and seek medical attention.

Burn treatment: When a person's skin is extensively burned, immediately rinse the burned surface with plenty of water for about fifteen minutes. At the same time, be careful not to get cold, frostbite, or other illnesses. After changing to uncontaminated clothing, quickly send to the hospital for medical treatment.


5、 Power outage, water outage

Power outage handling: Immediately turn off the power to the reactor and temperature control equipment, maintain pressure and wait.

Water shutdown treatment: Except for the high-pressure reactor seal that requires cooling water, small and medium-sized devices generally do not have a water cooling system and can operate normally; The high-pressure reactor can be shut down depending on the situation.
