The double-layer glass reactor adopts high borosilicate glass with high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high hardness, low expansion rate and high transmittance. However, during the operation of the double-layer glass reactor, the double-layer glass reactor may be cracked if it is not properly used.
When the double-layer glass reactor is conducting experiments, when the experimental temperature exceeds the specified use temperature, the violent reaction of materials will produce a large amount of gas, which will cause the pressure in the reactor to increase sharply and cause damage to the double-layer glass reactor. Therefore, we should pay attention to the changes of materials during the operation, or add a pressure relief device to the double glass reactor. In case of abnormal conditions, we should immediately stop using to avoid damage.
When the pressure of the interlayer of the double glass reactor is too high, the reactor body will also be damaged or broken. In particular, when high-pressure steam is used as the temperature medium, it can be used normally after pressure reduction. However, once the pressure reducing valve fails, it will cause overpressure of the interlayer, which will lead to rupture of the kettle body due to excessive pressure. It is recommended to add a pressurizing valve.
